Thee Rised

My first encounter with the waterless urinal was when I saw them in a men’s room when I was on vacation. I wanted to pour some water in it but the gentleman before me told me that it was supposed to be a waterless urinal. I felt really stupid but was also thinking about what a brilliant concept this was. I could not wait to tell my friends back home about them.

I found a place on line that sold plumbing fixtures and printed out a copy of the make and model of waterless urinal I had seen on vacation. During our usual Saturday night poker game, I whipped out the printed piece of paper that showed what I thought was one of the neatest things ever invented, the waterless urinal.

My buddies all laughed at me when I did this and asked me why I would think that it was so cool, since there was one at our country club in the men’s room upstairs. I always use the bathrooms downstairs near the pro shop and had no idea that there was a waterless urinal plumbing fixture at my club. I do however plan on using the bathroom upstairs from now on to see it.

I was really impressed with my nephew’s knowledge of one way link building. I had only asked him what he had been studying in his website development classes. He was only too happy to tell me all about the things that they had been learning to help websites move up the search engines and rank better.

I knew nothing about the web business before our link building conversation. I started to understand how it all worked after he explained it for the third time to me. I think the fact that he drew some pictures and spoke slowly, helped me out. He laughed when I asked some questions and then he just decided to answer them and move on.

I asked him if he would be available to do some one way link building for my boss’s website if he wanted it done. He told me that he could do that, for a small fee but that I should make sure that there was not someone already doing it for them. Most website owners know all about link building and they pay someone or they do it themselves to better their rankings. I told him that I would plan on asking my boss as soon I get back to work on Monday.

Ever since the birth of the Internet, things have been completely different at our company. What time I used to write newspaper ads and coordinate radio commercial ads and such, I know spend just doing Internet marketing. Our company pays me to do nothing but Internet marketing to gain exposure.

A good Internet presence is huge in our industry so I work hard at it each and every day. They give me a monthly budget and I figure out how it is best spent to give us the best return. Whether it is link building or social media does not really matter to them. I just have to increase our exposure so that is translated into increased Internet sales.

I found Danny DeMichele online and read the he is a big time marketing buff. So I contacted his company and decided to do some stuff with them as part of our monthly budget. If I can spend some of our marketing dollars and being schooled to learn better marketing, then I figure it is a good investment.

I did learn quite a bit from the whole experience with Danny DeMichele and I especially liked what I learned that I was doing wrong with our marketing strategy. Our sales have increased for us and that is why they pay me.

We needed some medical insurance so the first thing we did was to go online and do an insurance quote search to find and ready and willing company that would want to insure us. My wife and I are already in our forties and did not have any insurance coverage that was worth a crap. I have some type of insurance coverage through my work buy it is pretty much worthless.

Once we found a few online insurance companies, we requested life insurance quotes to compare to each other and to the insurance policy that we have now. It was made pretty easy with an online form to fill out and then just a matter of waiting on a response from one of their insurance representatives.

Within a few days we had responses from all of the insurance quotes we had requested. From there we weeded out the ones we didn’t like at all and then called about the others. In talking with one person we decided to go with no medical exam life insurance because it best fit our lifestyle and current condition we were in.

After a quick phone interview to answer some more questions, we faxed them some additional information and by that afternoon we had no medical exam life insurance coverage. We feel so much better now as older parents and just for the protection to each other in case something were to happen to one of us. It started with simple life insurance quotes and now we are covered under a great life insurance policy.

Just complaining about the down servers was not going to get them fixed, so I had to get a hold of myself and get the used sun hardware people on the line and explain what was going on. It seemed that no matter what was going on with our sun products, they could diagnose the problem over the phone and tells me what kind of used sun hardware it would take to fix it.

They had never failed us yet and this time would not be an exception. When the used sun equipment operator answered the line, she immediately started figuring out what could be wrong with our servers by what I was telling her. She had already put in the order for the used sun hardware we would need and it would be delivered to the office by eight in the morning.

I felt relieved after talking with the operator and knowing that we would be back up and running by noon tomorrow at the latest thanks to the super smart people that worked at the used sun equipment company that I could never do without. They have pulled us out of tight jams before and they will probably have to do it again.

I was so happy to find out that I could afford to put some used servers in at my office. The servers that were currently installed were very old and were showing signs of failing at anytime. I did not want to be in the middle of a work week and have my servers go down. This would cost the company thousands of dollars in sales and in today’s economy that was just not something that we could afford to have happen.

I had thought about having some new dell servers installed but then found out the price and knew that if I wanted to blow the tech budget for the rest of the year, than I could do it. I started calling around to some of the computer repair shops to see if they could offer me a used dell or two for a good price, and no one had any that would be worth buying.

The last computer guy that I talked to told me about a company online that sold used dell computer equipment and he thought that they would probably have exactly what I was looking for. I got on their site and saw the type of used dell servers I thought would work, for unbelievably low prices. I ordered two and was glad that they were delivered so quickly since our oldest server had decided to become very slow, the morning before we took it out.

My brother, Jim has just opened up his own business and I guess that it is going very well. He is installing vinyl replacement windows and doors and loves being his own boss. His wife helps him on some jobs and she also helps him by answering the business calls and handling paperwork. I am happy for him since he was laid off about six months ago and could not find a job; he decided to make a job for himself.

I told him that as soon as he could get to my house, he needed to give me an estimate of putting new vinyl replacement windows in for me. I told him that I did not want any special favors or discounts because we were related either. He needed to charge me just like he would any other customer.

My other brother, Joe is a NC roofing contractor and I told him the same thing when he came to look at my roof. I know that it is tough to run your own business and you cannot be cutting discounts to all of your friends and family or you will never make it. My brother Joe is one of the best NC roofing contractors in the state.
